Probably best I get this out of the way with. I do not ship LuluxWakka, I never have and I never will. I personally see them as close family, but not lovers, sorry! As an add on to this, I do ship chemistry. Not that shipping is all that important to me, but when it does happen, I need there to be chemistry and not just 'your muse and my muse is hot'. BEFORE HER FINAL PILGRIMAGELulu was born in the Thunder Plains, her mother and father were Freya and Orion. She doesn't remember her time spent with her tribe (her tribe specialised in Thunder Magic, though with age they would manifest new elements in their repertoire) as when she was still a babe, no older than one Winter, soldiers from Bevelle came and decimated their small settlement and enslaved any survivors.Lulu's earliest memories are of Bevelle, mostly the time spent alone as her parents were performing their duties within the Holy temple, tending to Priests and acolytes alike. Their main duty, however, was to protect the temple from Sin should the beast turn its gaze upon the city and wreak havoc upon it. This did unfortunately happen when Lulu had just turned five years old. her parents were killed in the ensuing attack and she was spirited away by someone that worked within the temple proper and boarded onto a ship with other children that had found themselves orphaned.It was several weeks before the ship docked, and she soon learned that the southern most island in all of Spira, Besaid, was to be here new home. Not long after, she met Chappu and Wakka who had also recently lost their parents and the three of them quickly became friends, family the trio so desperately missed.Five years later, a new Calm would be upon the citizens of Spira, and for one little girl, that meant losing her father. Yuna was brought to Besaid Island by the silent Ronso, Kimahri, and once again, Lulu found herself with a new member of her family. It would be another three years before Yuna expressed her wishes to become a summoner, like her father before her, and this wish prompted Lulu to train to become a Guardian in the hopes that she could defeat Sin first, As she couldn't dissuade Yuna from her chosen path. Alas, she was not successful in her endeavours and eventually would be on a Pilgrimage with Yuna as they made their way to Zanarkand, a Pilgrimage which would uncover many dark secrets concerning Yevon and Sin's origins, and change the future for Spira and all who called it home.

THE FIRST PILGRIMAGELulu's first Pilgrimage as a sworn Guardian was to Lady Ginnem when she was just fifteen years old. Filled with determination and perhaps a little over-confident, ignoring the advice of her elders, Lulu was to be Ginnem's sole Guardian.The pair bonded quickly, Ginnem admiring Lulu's strength of character and the wisdom she carried beyond her years. Ginnem decided within the first few days of knowing Lulu that she would make it her mission to get the girl to loosen up a little and enjoy the life that she had while she had it, often reminding her that any day could be their last and there was no harm in smiling and enjoying the journey.The pair made a formidable team and eventually made it beyond the Holy City of Bevelle and to the Calm Lands. It was here that Ginnem heard the tale of a Fayth that had been stolen from its temple and hidden somewhere in the Calm Lands. Seeing an opportunity to increase her chances of reaching Zanarkand and obtaining the Final Aeon, Ginnem spent day and night searching for this lost Fayth and was finally able to trace it back to a cavern near the foot of Mount Gagazet. It would be here that Ginnem would meet her demise, Lulu was under prepared and grossly outnumbered. It was here that a Fiend attacked her, taking her left eye and Ginnem's life with it. After her summoners death, Lulu wandered the Calm Lands near blindly for weeks before she was found and nursed back to health.THE SECOND PILGRIMAGEFather Zuke was to be the second summoner that Lulu was Guardian to during her eighteenth summer, only this time Wakka accompanied her. The trio made it as far as the Calm Lands before Zukes resolve wavered and he gave up the pilgrimage. Lulu and Wakka returned home, defeated.By the time Lulu reached twenty-one, Chappu, whom she had been romantically involved with, announced that he had joined the Crusaders and would be leaving for Djose to fight Sin. He did not return and would never propose to Lulu as he planned.
